See Yew Later is a zine by artist SEE YEW also known as Cody Umans. This black and white, staple bound zine is self published by Umans. See Yew Later consists of original photographs, drawings, and digital collages of people, animals, and places which relate indirectly to New York City. The zine, through a variety of media, conveys the suffocation of life in the city and takes the viewer on a journey into an unidentified desert space, where new characters and scenes arise. This limited edition zine is signed by the artist.
Cody Umans is an artist who was born in New York City, where he continues to live and work. Umans received his BFA from the School of Visual Arts and has since been a part of several group exhibitions in New York. In addition to making paintings which relate to the process of sketchbook drawing and personal narrative, Umans has self-published multiple zines, produced clothing, and installations.
