Artists’ book with black and white original linocuts by Matt Dillon and Marcel Hüppauff.

In 2019 actor/ artist Matt Dillon (1964 in New Rochelle, NY) and painter Marcel Hüppauff (1972 in Stuttgart) started their artistic collaboration. In irregular intervals, in Hamburg, Rome or New York, side by side at the studio, from afar over the phone.

The collaboration involves a continuous exchange about their own works and goes even further, their respective handwriting is transcended in jointly created paintings.

The artists’ book Naturama | Against Creativity presents linocuts by Matt Dillon and Marcel Hüppauff that were also conceived in a mutual, collective process. They take you on a sentimental journey to a post-pop, apocalyptic world.
