Tiny Creatures delves into a world full of huge eyes and miniature reality. Many of these drawings were made on extremely small pieces of paper, a scan of which is featured in the book. A fan favorite among young readers, this colorful little book is pocket-sized.
Emma is a passionate 3rd grader who is good at math and likes to travel. She came from Romania and makes friends everywhere she goes.
Citation Needed is an intergenerational publishing initiative, supporting the creation and production of artist books by 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Through a weekly workspace, participants generate individual and collaborative books, utilizing photocopiers, typewriters, and a range of drawing materials. Citation Needed provides project-based arts experiences for children while amplifying their voices through the printed matter and book arts. This initiative is led by artist Ari Wolff, in collaboration with the 14th Street Y After School and Printed Matter / St Marks.
