Umbrella is a journal dedicated to artists’ books and publications, edited by art librarian and curator Judith Hoffberg. Published as a print periodical between 1978 and 2005 (and then online until Hoffberg’s death in 2009), Umbrella carried all the latest news on artists’ publications (with a particular interest in mail and rubber-stamp art), including reviews, interviews and updates from book dealers and publishers.
