Most commonly known an organization dedicated to the dissemination, understanding and appreciation of artists’ books, Printed Matter is also home to a vast and growing collection of rare and hard to find audio works by artists.

To increase access to these materials, we’ve installed a new listening station in the back corner of the store with vinyl, cassette, and CD listening capabilities. Our selection offers a wide array of sound art, experimental music, and conceptual recordings…there are hundreds of hidden gems here, just waiting to be discovered.
