Suzanna Zak is a Los Angeles based, interdisciplinary artist, working in the realms of situation, travel, photography and installation. Incorporating text, sculpture and found objects, her work draws viewers into the stories of her travels, both encapsulating and morphing visual and immaterial moments housed in memory. Zak’s work with publications includes a collaboration with Nicholas Gottlund (of Gottlund/Verlag), resulting in their photographic book ‘The Copier’, as well as Rock Bottom Press – Zak’s own independent publishing press.
