Peter Downsbrough’s prolific book practice extends a vocabulary from his minimalist sculptures. His sparse configurations of lines, planes and words (most often using single conjunctions, prepositions, verbs and nouns) serve as iconographic signs which underline and reveal the space of the page, and explore the relationships between forms.
