FeedBack 4 is actually the second issue of the London-based journal (following FeedBack 0-1) and is subtitled “Ideas that Inform, Construct and Concern the Production of Exhibitions and Events.” Consisting of essays and projects from a wide range of contributors interested in curatorial debates, this issue seeks to provide an open forum for focusing on participatory art events and examining them from the point of view of the artist, the curator and the participant.
Features include Eileen Simpson and Ben White’s history of proprietary law as it relates to the first jazz record, Maria X and Adnan Hadzi’s case study of Deptford.TV, and documentation of Jae Rhim Lee’s performance “N=1”. Other contributors include Saul Albert, Gregorios Pharmakis, Alberto Duman, Katie Schwab, Meter Mörtenböck, Helge Mooshamme, Christiana de Melo, Marie Cozette, Keren Detton, and Julie Pellegrin, among others.
This special edition comes with a folded print in a numbered edition of 100 by Rey Akgogan as part of her project, “Fictional Sculptures and Irregular Pole Positions.”
