This lightweight, light-colored booklet is an understated, witty delight. 10 postcard-sized prints nestle within a folded cover, their simple black-and-white lines continuously playing on the title’s idiosyncratic proposition of “Pointless Arrows.” Endlessly entertaining and studiedly silly, this project, evidently thought through and produced with much affection, interchanges between mathematical puzzle, visual pun, and thought experiment for a highly engaging, humorous, and endearing experience. Highlights include “20 Pointless Arrows Cancelled Out By Directional Conflict,” “26 Pointless Arrows Fuse in An Ascending Formation,” and “24 Pointless Arrows Overstepping Their Boundaries.”
