From the Library of the influential but under-recognized art critic and writer, Edit DeAk
Signed with inscription by Ricard.
Movie star, wit, writer and poet, Rene Ricard has garnered a cult following. As a child star in Warhol’s films, Ricard was the essence of cruel and beautiful youth. Madness, frayed nerves, prison, early death, drugs and sudden violence have been the subject and method of his poetry. Seldom published and nearly impossible to find, the extraordinary quality of Ricard’s gift had once existed largely as rumor. God with Revolver gathers together a large selection of poems from 1979-82, written during the height of the poet’s glamorous reign of terror over high society and the New York art world.
Published and edited by Raymond Foye and Francesco Clemente. Comes with beautiful silver foil stamped jacket.
