This zine contains a slideshow of snapshot images from Peer’s parents’ vacations across the US. It is narrated by her father and soundtracked by a Hebrew version of Simon and Garfunkel’s song “America”. The juxtapositions and parallels between what Peer’s father is saying and the images, suggest that his words are both purely descriptive and existentially significant.

Peer’s work stubbornly forces the viewer to realize fictional situations. In the wake of unreached goals and unfulfilled desires, Peer constructs scenarios in which failure is almost certain. Whether reducing the harsh trials of her parents’ immigrant experience into a fun US road-trip slideshow, singing an unrehearsed opera song repeatedly as her “last” ditch effort, or turning hot-dogs into tapping fingers, the very attempt creates evidence of its possibility as well as its absurdity.
