“Living with a disability and chronic illness, I quickly realized many years ago that the widespread notion of "protest” is one that involves activity and access that might be difficult or impossible for the sick and disabled. It can feel isolating and hopeless to be unable to participate in walks and physical protests, but this piece is to remind both the able-bodied and the sick/disabled that the act of protest is not strictly physical. There is much that can be done from anywhere, placing calls, emailing representatives, and (if possible) donating to bail funds, BLM, and other groups. PROTEST IS ACCESSIBLE, this must not be forgotten!“ - Panteha Abareshi
