“As a response to prevalent racial injustices around our country, I’ve decided to create a community sourced database to help my followers - and the internet at large - fight systemic racism and white supremacy.
I started Patia’s Fantasy World as a private page to share humor, focused on black culture, with my close friends. Eventually, I made the page public and amassed a following. With help from a close network of friends and colleagues, as well as several sleepless nights, I created a master list guide to help dismantle racism. Through my platform, the guide has been circulated around the internet, reaching a number of people I never imagined.
Due to the overwhelming response, we have turned the master list into a website that we hope will continue to foster awareness and support for the Black Lives Matter movement.
