Join us at Printed Matter / St Marks for a sidewalk opening celebration of Clayton Patterson’s window exhibition Beauty Mark, curated by Gryphon Rue.

The installation consists of over 300 of Clayton’s photographs of the Lower East Side taken between 1985 - 1999, tiled on the windows of Printed Matter / St Marks along with three prints from his Pyramid Club portrait series.

Clayton and Gryphon will be present at an outside table to talk about the art and sign copies of Clayton’s books: Tattoo Gazette 5, The Street Gangs of the Lower East Side, and Clayton: Godfather of Lower East Side Documentary—A Graphic Novel.

All photos displayed are for sale as 3.5” x 5” prints signed by Clayton Patterson. Turnaround time for orders is one week.
