Printed Matter / St Marks is thrilled to co-present a Holiday Card Riso Workshop with dieFirma, led by photographer and riso printer Oswaldo García. Transform your cherished photos, drawings, or collages into two-color riso cards, ready to be shared with friends and family.

Suitable for all creative enthusiasts, Oswaldo will guide participants through the riso printing process, accommodating all experience levels. Each participant will leave with a personalized edition of 30 uniquely crafted cards + envelopes.

What to bring: drawings, photos, texts, or images for collage. Please note that no computers will be involved in the making of the holiday cards.

Oswaldo Garcia is the artist behind the riso studio and publishing label Gold Rain based in Querétaro, México. With more than seven years of experience, he creates beautiful publications and prints in collaboration with artists and designers.

dieFirma is an art space anchored in New York’s Cooper Square. Through exhibitions, publications, and workshops, dieFirma’s mission is to expand the conversation about art and encourage participation in the creative process. Printing the Future inaugurates dieFirma’s Riso Studio – a project space equipped with a 2-color Risograph duplicator where creatives can collaborate.
