Art to Make Pancakes To is a two color, risograph printed zine by Ecuadorian artist Jaime Nuñez del Arco. The inaugural edition of Terminal Ediciones, Art to Make Pancakes To is a zine which overlays written text by Nuñez del Arco over printed notifications from a printer. Nuñez del Arco combines drawing and bilingual text which at times reads as humorous notes and other times waxes poetic, in order to produce a publication that is ironic, absurd, and sentimental.
Terminal is a publishing project based in Ecuador for Ecuadorian and Latin American visual artists. By publishing fanzines, books, and editions, Terminal hopes to stimulate dialogue and nurture community. With an interest in diasporic art practices, alternate visions of contemporary culture, politics and resistance discourses, they work with underrepresented artists to circulate their work in galleries, shops and art book fairs worldwide. Terminal is founded and edited by Jaime Nuñez del Arco, in collaboration with graphic designer Gabriela Valarezo.
